Foster Pepper adds two lawyers in Washington, DC

US-based law firm Foster Pepper has hired Whitney Stowe and John Drake to the firm’s intellectual property practice.

They both join the firm’s Washington, DC office from law firm K&L Gates.

Stowe joins as of counsel, and has experience in copyright, trademark, and patent litigation.

Drake, who joins as an associate, has experience in all areas of IP and focuses on complex commercial disputes.

John Nelson, the firm’s Spokane office managing partner, said: “These lawyers are not only exceptionally talented, they are also outstanding people who have great ties to the community.”

The moves are part of nine other hires across the firm.
