FisherBroyles hires partner in Washington, DC

Law firm FisherBroyles has hired James Pohl as a partner in the firm’s IP practice group in Washington, DC.

Pohl joins from law firm Morris & Kamlay, where he worked as a senior patent attorney.

He has experience in IP due diligence, developing patent portfolios, risk assessment and technology-related agreements.

Before becoming an attorney, Pohl worked as an electrical engineer.

Michael Cone, office managing partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office, said: “FisherBroyles is delighted to welcome another patent attorney to the Washington, DC office. James brings unique assets to the firm’s deep bench in the patent field.”
