EAPD merges with Wildman Harrold

Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge LLP has merged with Wildman Harrold Allen & Dixon LLP, it was announced in August.

The new firm will be called Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP and will begin joint operations on October 1.

The new firm will have 650 lawyers across practices, including intellectual property.

Walter Reed, the current managing partner of Edwards Angell, will serve as the managing partner of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP. Robert Shuftan, Wildman Harrold’s managing partner, will serve as deputy managing partner and chair of the firm’s strategic planning committee.

Reed said: “This combination enhances our already-strong capabilities and establishes a solid foundation for continued growth.”
