Duane Morris adds two IP partners
Law firm Duane Morris has promoted Thomas Sankey to managing partner of the firm’s Houston office.
Sankey (pictured left) still works as a partner in the intellectual property litigation division of the firm’s trial practice group.
He has experience in trademark and copyright disputes before the US Patent and Trademark Office, as well as trade secrets matters.
He is based in the firm’s Houston office.
John Soroko, chairman and chief executive of the firm, said: “Tom’s outstanding accomplishments as a trial lawyer, strong leadership of a division of the firm’s largest practice group and deep knowledge of the Houston market have fully prepared him to take on this new position.”
