Duane Morris opens office in Taiwan
Law firm Duane Morris has opened a new office in Taipei, Taiwan, where it will have an emphasis on intellectual property.
The office will be known as Duane Morris & Selvam Taiwan.
The firm currently has offices in the US, UK, Singapore, Vietnam, Oman, Shanghai and Myanmar.
The new office will focus on IP, corporate and litigation matters for clients in the high technology, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.
Richard Thurston, who works as of counsel in the firm, will work in the firm’s new office, as well as in New York.
Christopher Neumeyer works in the office as a special counsel and Cheng Hsiang “Eric” Chu accompanies him in the new office.
John Soroko, chairman and CEO of the firm, said: “Our new Taiwan office is a logical next step in the long-term strategy for our international operations and our continued growth in Asia.”
