CPA Global opens new office in Taiwan
IP management and software company CPA Global has opened a new office in Taiwan.
Located in the Xinyi central business district of Taipei, the office will help serve to the demand for IP management specialists in the Asia-Pacific area.
It has been opened alongside other offices in locations across the Asia-Pacific region, such as Tokyo, Seoul, Shanghai and Sydney. The company has confirmed that it also plans to open an additional office in Beijing later this year.
It has been an eventful year for CPA Global. Last month, WIPR reported on the appointment of Marcos Antunes as general manager of the firm for the Asia-Pacific region.
In August, the company appointed Toni Nijm as chief technology officer and acquired US-based patent research company Landon IP.
Antunes said: “Taiwan is a market of tremendous innovation and home to some of the world’s most progressive, forward-thinking organisations, which need to manage and protect their IP rights locally, regionally and internationally.
“As a result, we are seeing increasing demand for high quality IP management services and software, both from law firms and from the corporate clients they serve,” he added.
