Law firm Clyde & Co has opened a patent and trademark filing office in Muscat, Oman.
The firm also has offices in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates in the Middle East region.
The new office will focus on intellectual property matters in Oman and is based close to the Oman Trade Mark and Patent Offices.
It is due to open in March 2016.
Rob Deans, partner and head of IP at the firm, said: “The addition of this office in Oman underscores our commitment to expanding our intellectual property capabilities across the Gulf Cooperation Council region.”
