Bird & Bird hires two partners in Hamburg
Law firm Bird & Bird has hired two patent attorneys as partners in its Hamburg office.
Felix Landry (pictured below, left) and Felix Harbsmeier (pictured below, right) both join from patent law firm Uexküll & Stolberg, where they served as partners.
Landry is a qualified German and European patent attorney, specialising in the fields of electronics, physics and engineering. He had worked at Uexküll & Stolberg since 2001.
Harbsmeier is also a qualified German and European patent attorney, focusing on electronics, physics and engineering. He had been at Uexküll & Stolberg since 2004.
Christian Harmsen, co-head of Bird & Bird’s international intellectual property group, said: “We are delighted with the strengthening of our successful patent attorney team.
“Hamburg is for us, in terms of the Unified Patent Court and the economic region, an important location, which we will continue to expand and support from other offices.”
Michael Alt, co-head of Bird & Bird Germany, added that the Hamburg office will continue to expand in the patent sector.
He added: “I warmly welcome our new patent attorney colleagues. Their technical specialities complement each other perfectly with our expertise in the fields of pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biotechnology and chemistry.”
