Bardehle Pagenberg merges with Italian firm

Bardehle Pagenberg has merged with Studio Legale Casucci-Ferretti, a Milan-based law firm that employs nine IP lawyers.

The Italian firm will use the name of Bardehle Pagenberg, which now operates in five European cities: Munich, Düsseldorf, Paris, Barcelona and Milan.

"We see Italy as a very interesting market, strategically," said partner Henning Hartwig. "On the one hand, it is an attractive venue for litigation and, on the other hand, it boasts a great number of manufacturers of the consuming goods industry that are defending their IP rights on a Europe-wide scale. As one of the largest IP firms in Europe, we want a presence in the Italian market."
