Baker Botts promotes two to counsel

Law firm Baker Botts has promoted David Cardwell and Katie Juffa to counsel and special counsel in the firm’s antitrust and competition, and intellectual property practices in Brussels and Dallas, Texas, respectively.

Cardwell has experience in EU competition law for clients in the technology, pharmaceutical, media and automotive industries.

Juffa focuses her practice on patent prosecution, technology transfer and inter partes review proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

Andrew Baker, managing partner of the firm, said the two are "outstanding lawyers who are focused on meeting the needs of our global clients on a daily basis".
