The global patent research community, Article One Partners (AOP), has recruited Peter Vanderheyden as its chief product officer.
The former LexisNexis employee is responsible for product strategy, technical staff and product development at AOP. He will also oversee recruitment, training, and the rewarding and retaining of the company’s research community.
While at LexisNexis, Vanderheyden helped develop TotalPatent, a patent research tool, and PatentOptimizer, a soft ware tool that analyses the legal integrity of a patent or application.
“Peter brings a strong background of leadership and innovative execution in the IP space that includes the development of talent and a number of products aimed at helping broaden access to valuable prior art,” said Cheryl Milone, founder and chief executive of AOP.
