Alston & Bird opens San Francisco office
Law firm Alston & Bird has opened a new office in San Francisco and expanded in Los Angeles.
The new office is the firm’s ninth in the US and eleventh worldwide.
Kathy Huang and William Higgins join from law firm Reed Smith as a partner and senior counsel, respectively.
Huang will work in the firm’s Los Angeles office and Higgins joins the San Francisco office.
Huang has experience in issues such as an unfair competition, while Higgins’ experience includes trademark and trade secrets law.
Teresa Bonder, leader of the firm’s antitrust team who will serve as partner-in-charge of the new office, said: “Alston & Bird has a history of working with clients in San Francisco and the broader regional market, and we are proud to put down roots here.”
