Alston & Bird opens office in Beijing
Law firm Alston & Bird has opened a new office in Beijing.
The office, the firm’s tenth, is located in in the Hanwei Office Building in Beijing’s central business district and will counsel Chinese companies on US intellectual property law.
Richard Hays, the firm’s managing partner, said: “The launch of our Beijing office recognises the importance and success of these practices by formalising a presence around practices that Alston & Bird has had for many years.”
Yitai Hu and Helen Su, already partners at the firm, join the new office.
Hu has experience in semiconductor-related technology while Su has experience in licensing negotiations and patent portfolio management.
