Adidas and Under Armour settle fitness tracker dispute

Under Armour and Adidas have agreed to settle their patent infringement dispute centring on fitness training devices.

The lawsuit was dismissed on May 4.

Financial details of the settlement have not been revealed.

The devices in question were owned by MapMyFitness, which was bought by Under Armour in November 2013.

MapMyFitness sells fitness trackers that can map, record and share their workouts using GPS and other technologies.

In a lawsuit filed at the US District Court for the District of Delaware in 2014, Adidas said Under Armour and MapMyFitness infringed ten patents it owns.
